The tour information said it was a 1.5 h snorkeling tour. All in all, we paid $45 USD pp for 25 minutes of snorkeling which left us very disappointed as they totally mishandled the tour. He did drive us back to port as promised by Tucan, which was only about 5 min to the cruise port.

The face of the taxi driver just dropped and he didn't look pleased with that arrangement, which didn't make us or our fellow group members very comfortable. Then they arranged a taxi for us and told the taxi driver that Toucan Tours would pay for our return.
The other couple also decided that they wanted to get back to the boat so they called for transportation for us, which never came. We were told that once the snorkeling was over, if we chose to stay at the beach that we would have to arrange on our own taxi at a cost of $8, if we went back right after, they would call a shuttle for us. Needless to say, we were all extremely disappointed. To top it off at the end of the snorkeling, the tour operators were asking for tips if we felt they did a great job. I asked if we were going to another snorkeling stop, they said no, they had to get back to shore. The relieved tour operators told us to get into the boat and we snorkeled for only about 20 -25 min before they returned. After an extensive period of time, the tour operator communicated that they were missing a couple (they thought it was us) and the other couple explained about their fellow passengers who never got out of the vehicle. Another couple showed up about 15 minutes later and apparently there was another couple in their vehicle who decided they couldn't get into that boat and never came out of the van.
It became apparent that they were also waiting for more guests. We debarked our cruise ship shortly after docking, arrived at the meeting point by the Mayan Temple, after waiting for about 15 min they shuttled my husband and I to the beach area and told us that they still needed to clean the boat and pick up some gasoline. We were extremely disappointed by them and totally got ripped off for what was promised.
